"Out the big door into the alleyway. Hearing the rain like little pellets from a gun against the tarmac. Drops fall. Trickle down my skin. I collect them in my hand. The cold and wet remind me of where I am. Drowning."
In an age of uncertainty, it’s difficult for people in their twenties to be anything but apathetic about the future. Electra is a physical piece of theatre which maps the experiences of young women trying to navigate their way through life, clinging to the past, ignoring the present, and fearing the future.
Following its run Electra was commissioned by the Half Moon Festival in the Cork Opera House for a second run.
